The Lower Adirondack Visionary Association is exploring to build a youth center for the disadvantaged kids in our area. The Future Youth Center will be looking to provide many programs such as Mental Health awareness and services, cultural programs, culinary, sports, extracurricular activities music, art, and much more. Many programs have been slashed over time from our educational system that has always bought creativity, independent living skills and job creation for our youth like never before. Our board members include a few local businesses that I will be introducing later this week. Also, our 501c3 will be properly in place. As President, I intend to bring the best programs. I know I worked for our youth to see them succeed. My experience working with the Boys n Girls Club also with Berkshire Farms Center for Youth has shown me a way to succeed in my personal life. Working in those fields has given me insight on what is required for our youth to be productive and have opportunities for them to succeed in life. We will bring something different and unquestionably unique to our area for our youth. L.A.V.A, Empowering The Future. I’m excited for this project and for my community. Community Activism is a powerful thing now it’s time to use it in the right places. Safe and empowering places are needed for youth.
We believe the future of every young person is a precious gift to be shared and celebrated.
